I'm extremely excited to be bringing you my review of the Too Faced Star Dust by Vegas Nay set today. This set is $45 and can be purchased at Ulta, Ulta.com, and Toofaced.com. It's a great value for the money. In this set, you will get an eyeshadow palette with 12 shadows, "signature how-to Glamour Guide," deluxe Better Than Sex Mascara, and a deluxe Shadow Insurance Eye Primer.
The Too Faced Shadow Insurance and the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara are both great products to have in this set. The Shadow Insurance is great to use as a base to keep shadows in place all day and help the shadows look true to color on the lid. The Better Than Sex Mascara is amazing for my upper lashes, it adds amazing length and volume. However, I've found I can't use this mascara on my lower lashes because it does transfer under my eyes.
So many of these eyeshadows are absolutely incredible. The pigmentation is amazing, smooth, and blendable. There are a few shadows that I'm not so in love with: The Strip and Follow Me. They are just not that pigmented and don't really pack a punch. I do love this palette as a whole. I love that I can create a multitude of different eyeshadow looks with this palette alone.
These shadows are just wonderful. I love the mix of golds, bronze shades, and pinky pearl shades. There are "Glamour" cards that come with this set that are really helpful for putting fun looks together with this palette.
If you've been on my channel for any length of time you'd know I love glitter/shimmer. However this glitter is extremely difficult to work with. I've been trying to use it as often as I can, I really wanted to love this glitter. Sadly, I can not find the right way to make this glitter pop. There is a lot of fallout. I've tried to use MAC Fix+ and I've used a glitter primer so will it's gorgeous in the pan it's not doing anything for me.
This is a gorgeous set and I highly recommend stopping by your local Ulta if you can to give these shadows a swatch because you will fall in love. I'm extremely impressed and love the fact that this set was created in collaboration with Vegas Nay :)
